We offer reliable, direct delivery using a fleet of different vehicles to ensure your goods arrive promptly and in excellent condition. From Carmarthen to Bridgend, we can reach nearly any site using a range of transport options—including small and large HIABs, 4x4s, and vans—tailored to suit your delivery needs.

How to Place an Order

You can place your order by visiting us in branch or by calling our sales team directly. We’ll guide you through selecting the right products and handle everything for you. Payments can be taken over the phone, or if you have a credit account, we can simply charge it to your account.

 

Delivery Information

Let us know exactly where you’d like your order delivered. The more detailed your delivery address, the better—please include the full UK address with house name or number and postcode. To make things even easier for our drivers, we recommend using what3words to pinpoint the delivery location or indicate an ideal drop-off point.

 

Contact Details

It’s really helpful if you can provide the number of someone who will be on-site during delivery. A mobile number is best, but if mobile reception is poor, a landline—such as your customer’s—will work too. This allows us to get in touch if the driver needs assistance or further directions. If no one will be present at the delivery site, please let us know in advance and clearly explain where you’d like the items left (e.g. “on the driveway” or “next to the skip”). We’ll do our best to follow your instructions.

Access & Vehicle Size

If there are any access limitations—such as narrow roads, low bridges, sharp bends, or other obstacles—please let us know in advance. Even if your order is small, it may still arrive on a larger vehicle, as we often coordinate deliveries to improve efficiency. This helps us reduce fuel use, lower emissions, and keep delivery costs down. Notifying us early helps avoid delays and ensures a smoother service.

In-Stock Items

We aim to deliver quickly and efficiently—when items are available in stock, we can usually complete delivery within 1–2 days. Your sales advisor will help you choose a delivery slot that works for you, and the expected timeframe will be confirmed when you place your order.

Out-of-Stock Items

If your items aren’t available in-branch, we’ll need extra time to either order them in or transfer them from another branch within the Robert Price network. We’re committed to providing a prompt and reliable service, and will give you the best possible estimate if products are being sourced externally. Your delivery timeframe will be confirmed when you place your order.

When Your Delivery Arrives

Our drivers will make their presence known by ringing the bell or knocking at the delivery address. We recommend being available to meet the driver so you can confirm where you’d like the goods placed and check that everything is present and correct. Once you’re happy, the driver will ask for a signature to confirm delivery.

 

Kerbside as Standard

Deliveries are typically made to the kerbside. We do not enter driveways, private land, or property without prior permission. In some cases, written consent may be required—if so, our driver will provide a short form for you to complete. Final decisions rest with the driver, based on what they consider safe and practical. Wherever possible, we’ll do our best to position your items exactly where you need them.

Delivery Charges

Delivery costs within our branch network area vary depending on the product. Our sales team will be happy to provide a quote based on your order.

If your delivery address falls outside our standard coverage area, a special delivery charge will apply. Additional fees—such as tolls, congestion charges, or clean air zone fees—may also be included where relevant. To help us provide an accurate quote, please let us know if your site is located within any such charge zones when making your enquiry.
